Working Notes on Agent Systems collects as little reader data as practical. The publication does not sell personal information, operate user accounts, or maintain a first-party advertising profile.
Infrastructure and measurement
The site is delivered through Vercel and Cloudflare. Those providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser, device, requested URL, and security signals to deliver, cache, protect, and diagnose the service.
Cloudflare Web Analytics may be enabled to measure page views and referrers. It is configured as an aggregate analytics layer and does not use cookies, local storage, or cross-site reader profiles. The beacon is loaded only when a site token is configured.
Reading list email addresses
Readers can join a reading list to receive new essays and substantial field reports by email. Joining stores an email address, the time consent was given, and the page the signup came from. The list lives in the publication's Supabase database and is used only for publication updates.
Addresses are never sold or disclosed to advertisers. Infrastructure providers such as Supabase process the minimum data needed to operate the list under their own service and privacy terms. An address is kept while the subscription is active. To unsubscribe or ask for deletion, write to the publication's correspondence desk and the address is removed.
Advertising
Display advertising is currently disabled. If Google advertising is enabled later, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Required consent controls will be activated before ads are shown in jurisdictions where consent is required.
