Working Notes on Agent Systems/Brad Zhang

Partnerships

Put a serious tool in front of people who build agent systems.

Working Notes on Agent Systems accepts a small number of labeled partnerships. Everything commercial is marked in the page, kept out of the conclusions, and held to the same evidence standard as the writing it sits beside.

The readership

Who reads the publication

Readers are builders and technical decision-makers working on agent systems: harness engineering, long-running workflows, memory and retrieval, AI-native workbenches, evaluations, and developer tools. They arrive through longform arguments, field notes, and inspectable open-source proofs rather than through feeds.

This page does not quote audience counts. Current reach and traffic context are shared directly on request, with the same care the publication applies to its own claims.

Formats

Partnership formats

Three formats, all derived from placements that already exist in the publication. Nothing sticky, nothing programmatic, nothing that follows the reader.

Sponsored resource

Field-note resource

A labeled resource inside the field-notes ledger, where working engineers read short dispatches on tools and systems in actual use.

Partner note

Essay builder note

A labeled partner note beside a longform argument, reserved for tools a builder would plausibly evaluate while reading the piece.

Sponsored resource

Open-source-adjacent resource

A labeled resource next to an inspectable proof in The Lab, where readers are already in an evaluation posture.

Fit

What belongs, what does not

Suitable categories

  • AI developer tools
  • agent observability
  • LLM evals
  • MCP and workflow infrastructure
  • technical documentation platforms
  • cloud developer infrastructure

Excluded categories

  • generic pop-under ads
  • adult content
  • gambling
  • crypto speculation
  • unrelated consumer offers
  • misleading downloads

Independence

Editorial independence and disclosure

Every partnership is labeled where it appears, uses a sponsored link relationship, and buys presence rather than opinion. Payment does not purchase a favorable conclusion, a ranking, or silence about a competing tool. The full rules live in the disclosure policy, and the data-handling side is covered by the privacy note.

Contact

Start with a short letter

If your tool belongs in one of the formats above, write through the correspondence desk or on X. A good first note names the product, the category it falls in, and which format you have in mind. The desk replies when there is a genuine fit.
